We ALWAYS place a minimum of 6 implants in the upper arch and 5 implants in the lower arch. Rebuilding someone’s mouth with implants is all about managing chewing forces. If there are not a sufficient number of implants, you will lose bone due to those forces, and the restoration will ultimately fail.

I use a tested and proven material that is a combination of Chrome Cobalt and a very strong material, PMMA. The advantage over Zirconia is that it is extremely strong. The problem with Zirconia is that it is too strong, which can lead to increased bone loss and failure of the restoration.

My goal is for the implants to last you a lifetime. The teeth may wear over time, but they can be replaced easily and inexpensively. However, if you lose the implants, you would have to start all over and undergo extensive bone grafting and reconstruction of your jaw.
